AKC Classes

AKC S.T.A.R Puppy
UP TO 1 YEAR
This 6 week course is taught by an AKC Approved CGC Evaluator for the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program. At the end of this course your instructor will adminster the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy test. Upon passing the test you'll get an application to send to AKC for enrollment in the program. AKC will send you a medal, a certificate, list your puppy in the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy records and more. ​

AKC Canine Good Citizen
6 MONTHS AND OLDER
This 6 week course taught by an AKC CGC Evaluator will prepare your pup for the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test. At the end of this course your pet will take the Canine Good Citizen Test. Upon passing, you can submit your Canine Good Citizen Title Application with AKC. You will receive a CGC Certificate. If your pet meets additional criteria you may also get the official title as well.

AKC Trick Dog
​
Learn new tricks with your pup in this 6 week course. At the end of this course your pup will be eligible to earn their AKC Trick Dog Title. Click learn more below to see the requirements for titling.
This course can be taken with or without the testing to get the title for those that do not care about the title but would still love to learn new tricks. ​

AKC Fit Dog
​
Fitness is important for every dog so the AKC has created the Fit Dog Title as a way for owners to works towards a healthy lifestyle with their dog!
At Dog Theory, we are commited to your pups health by offering Fit Dog classes as well as Pack Walks. ​
​
You do not have to work towards the Fit Dog Title to participate in AKC Fit Dog Classes.
